A pleasant night at the circus with her fiance ends with terrified Emmie Kirkwood fleeing into foggy 1870′s London. She makes it to an establishment called the “Gateway Roadhouse,” only to find herself in a place filled with the kind of creatures from which nightmares are made.
Just as the creatures are not all that they seem, neither is the Gateway Roadhouse. Meanwhile, her would-be killer is still hot on her trail.
